ASK er en kunstnergruppe som stiller seg kritisk til den utbredte og generelt aksepterte undertrykkelsen av dyr i samfunnet.

ASK ønsker å undersøke og stille spørsmål ved de grunnleggende holdningene som underbygger utnyttelsen av ikkemenneskelige dyr til menneskers formål.
Kunstnergruppa ønsker å fremme debatt om fenomenet spesiesisme, tendensen til å favorisere interessene til egen art, på bekostning av andre arter, generelt i samfunnet og innad i kunstfeltet. Medlemmene i ASK består av billedkunstnere som jobber innenfor en rekke forskjellige medier, fra konseptuelt baserte til mer håndverksmessige og mediespesifikke praksiser.

ASK is a group of artists that are critical to the widespread and generally accepted oppression of animals in society.

ASK wants to explore and question the basic attitudes that underpin the exploitation of nonhuman animals for the purposes of humans.
The artist groups wants to put forward a debate on the phenomenon of speciesism, the widespread tendency, in society as well as within the field of art, of favoring the interests of one's own species at the expense of other species. The members of ASK are contemporary artists working with many different media, from conceptually based to more crafts and media-specific practices.
